The request for a large scale dressing that could be applied to the whole body without the requirements for the fire fighting properties of the Burnshield blankets, and hence additional cost, has resulted in the contour dressing.

This is the larger of the two single Burnshield Contour Dressings that havew been developed and it offers a superb value large burns dressing.

The Contour Dressing is impregnated with Burnshield Hydrogel thus offering the same benefits to the patient as the normal Burnshield range.
The Contour range was developed from feedback from medical professionals who required a large dressing to treat burns without the high cost and fire fighting properties that the Burnshield blankets offered.
