Contour Dressings
The Contour range is the latest development from Burnshield and is in direct response to feedback from the emergency services. The request for a large scale dressing that could be applied to the whole body without the requirements for the fire fighting properties of the Burnshield blankets, and hence additional cost, has resulted in the contour dressing.

The Contour Dressing is a new addition to the Burnshield range for 2007 and is aimed at providing an economical alternative to the Burnshield Fire Blanket. The Contour Dressing is only used as a dressing and does not have any fire protection properties like the Burnshield Fire Blankets.
Description
The Contour Dressing is impregnated with Burnshield Hydrogel which offers the same benefits to the patient as the traditional Burnshield Dressings but on a larger scale.
The production of the contour range is as a direct result of the feedback from medical professionals requesting a large scale dressing that could be soley used as a dressing and thus reduce the costs compared to the large Burnshield Blankets that were previously the only alternative for large area, full body burns.
