Galpharm Entrocalm Loperamide capsules are used for the effective treatment of sudden short lived (acute) attacks of diarrhoea. It works by making the stools more solid and less frequent.
Description
Galpharm Entrocalm Loperamide tablets can stop diarrohoea with one dose.
- Please read the enclosed leaflet in the packet carefully before use.
- Keep out of the reach of Children.
- DOSE: For oral use, swallow whole with a drink of water, Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years 2 capsules to be taken initially, followed by 1 capsule after each loose motion, up to a maximum of 6 capsules in any 24 hours.
- Do NOT give to children under 12 years old.
- Do NOT exceed the stated dose and if you take too many capsules seek medical attention.
- If symptons persist beyond 24 hours consult your doctor.
- These capsules relieve the symptons of diarrhoea only and should not be used as a substitute for rehydration treatment.
- Do NOT take these capsules if you are allergic to any of the ingredients or if you suufer from colitis, or if you have a swollen stomach or constipation. This product also conatins lactose and if you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolera
- Check with your Doctor before use if you have liver disease, or are pregnant or breast feeding.
- Occassional side effects may occur with this product and these may include stomach pain, tiredness, dizziness, dry mouth, and allergic reactions eg skin rashes. If you notice these or any side effect not mentioned here consult your doctor orpharmacist.
