Modern blood pressure monitor measures the blood pressure with help of two microphones. It does not use the oscilllometric method, it measures by auscultatory method - the method that is used by doctors during measurement of the blood pressure with help of the stethoscope.
Description
Two very sensible microphones allow to perform the measurement on the left or on the right arm. The patient simply inserts his arm into the device, the doctor pushes the button and after some dozens of seconds the systolic and diastolic pressure and the pulse rate are displayed. Auscultus comes with adult size cuff (range 18 to 33 cm) and with 4 batteries R14 (possibility to use optional AC adapter). Dimensions: 164 x 130 x 252 mm, weight: 0,9 kg.
